Shav'Durr Vahh
What kind of character do you plan on portraying? How do their traits distinguish them from the rest of their species?:
Shav'Durr Vahh is only recently coming to terms with their individuality, after being set free from the command of the Nihilanth. Their journey to obtain a personality and a presence on this hotile and alien new world is their driving factor.
How do you plan to play your vortigaunt with respect to the setting? That being very early on in the Combine's occupation of Earth:
Shav'Durr Vahh has been thrust into the doorsteps of a civilization unknown to them, with beings they do not understand. They remain cautious of the habitats of the humans, and mostly remain on the outskirts at best.
How do you plan to interact with citizens and the other factions? Note that while Civil Protection is a new concept IC, you'd still be aware of their hostility towards your species:
This depends on how the introduction of vortigaunts is handled in Early Days. But in most cases, they approach their new neighbours with cautionary curiosity. Regarding the ancient foe, they will steer clear of the hated Combine's servants, at least whilst they travel alone.
Brief Backstory:
Shav'Durr Vahh was a run-of-the-mill soldier in the vast armies of the Nihilanth, their combat prowess above others of their kin. They performed what many would consider atrocities during the brief invasion, however their will was not their own. Now they stand on the shores of a new world with claws soaked in blood. They journey onwards in the relative safety of the wilderness, wondering if this new habitat could serve as a new home, a new start for them and all their kin. Will the clash of two civilizations birth new allies or new adversaries, that remains to be seen in these Early Days...
