At the same time the Governments of the MEC and the Commonwealth agreed to a trade plan between the two nations as they both prepare for large scale food shortage which they hope and be solved with this new alliance. In other news; The United States finally announces Mexico as the 53rd state.

Before the civil war, the RFN was one of the largest export contributors in the world; Providing mainly food to many countries in the region. This however is no longer the case. Following the assassination attempt and subsequent bombing of the Republican Council the RFN fell into rampant bloodshed with those ranging from the old communist party to the hellish death cults that had finally come out of the shadows of the "Concrete Revolution" from years prior.
