Is it not? It did last euro and lost to Spain in Semis.

edit: Portugal will easily make it out as #1 in groups, Belgium should be possible to beat and Portugal hasn't lost to England in like 70 years. I think we're safe.

While that is true, Ronaldo is good enough to solely put Portugal at the Semi's by himself if the opposition is not too hard.

The group is really easy, and the octaves/quarters aren't hard either, regardless of other groups' outcome.

I disagree tbh, while ronaldo may perform very well with real madrid keep in mind it's a superstar team. Portugal as a whole really isn't that good. Ronaldo will get them out of groups but who knows after that

Well, the struggles of the Worldcup/Eurocup is the fact that it is single elimination bracket, but over the last decade we've come to perform pretty well or terrible.

2004 - EURO finals
2006 - WorldCup Semifinals
2008 - Lost to Germany 3-2 (they made the finals)
2010 - Insta knocked out by Spain by 1-0 (They won)
2012 - Semi-Finals (Lost to Spain in penalties, they won 4-0 over italy, we were the 2nd best team at the tournament)
2014 - We shit the bed (In our defense, 7/11 main squad players got injured before even the first game, and the last main defender got red carded)

We are after all the 4th highest ranked team in the Tournament.

My money is on England getting knocked out on the first round.
We are shit at this stuff.

England is did really well during qualifiers, but we'll see. England always shits the bed as of late for some reason.
