What are your favorite musical albums? It can be anything that means something to you, not necessarily because they're all banger tracks.

My top three are:
Two_Door_Cinema_Club_-_Tourist_History.png

I love the instrumental tracks with every song on Tourist History, and Alex Trimbles voice fits in perfectly with the track.

Most people know about Black Parade.

I also really like early 2000s rock, or anything that captures that style. A Lesson in Romantics has to be the most 2000s sound-ing album I've ever heard.

my top three:

Carpenter Brut - Trilogy. One of my favorite hype playlists to listen to while raiding and/or playing an FPS game.
51SIgXKMDlL._SY355_.jpg

The Neighbourhood - I Love You. One of the first bands I listened to (and still listen to). Overall a nostalgia trip for me, so I often go back and listen to it.
71ILxrYw3tL._SX355_.jpg

Alicks - Fell (@PandaCG). Another very nostalgic album. It's basically a psuedo-lofi hip-hop but I wouldn't consider it that. It basically just keeps my brain active and it's something to listen to while doing work.

It was difficult to narrow it down to my top three, but those are good enough.

roar - i can't handle change
i never knew they were a pop band which is ironic cause roar is my favorite band of all time, sitting right next to beach house. unfortunately beach house doesn't have a single album i like alone. roar's new album is really good too
b12WCKc.png

mitski - bury me at makeout creek
mitski generally fucks and slaps hard but bury me at makeout creek is solid. this actually ties with anything by rostam/hamilton leithauser + rostam, the album "i had a dream that you were mine" owns just as equally
Y5X1dfZ.jpg

rex orange county - apricot princess
there's a lot of albums that could come third but i've heard this one the most recently out of them all and it holds a nice emotional spot in my little shitty heart like the rest of my listed albums do. each one of them has a nice little moment tied to it in my life, even if it's not that significant i feel like these three albums sorta signified some eras in my life i can't necessarily describe

I figured you were going to post Beerbongs and Bentleys
I dont think ive listened to any of these but I should

You can also toss in EPs if you want, theyre technically albums

0006472125_350.jpg

Dead Posey - Freak Show
It's all they have out right now, relatively new but pretty solid.

220px-SLFATB.jpg

Stiff Little Fingers - All the Best
It's in a good bit of soundtracks for skateboarding games, so I've listened to pretty much the whole album across old PS2 games. Solid stuff.

R-1082751-1427449049-8119.jpeg.jpg

NOFX - The War on Errorism
It's also in some old PS2 soundtracks. It's a solid bit of punk.

I only like a few songs off of bb&b, im not that big into it.
Spoil my Night, Rich & Sad and Paranoid are the only ones on my spotify.

Billytalent2cover.jpg

Billy Talent - Billy Talent II
It's got a very strong opening, a weaker middle section and great ending. Borders around pop punk or post-hardcore.

71Denero3UL._SY355_.jpg

Caesars - Love for the Streets
They use a lot of reverb and distortion but that gives it a nice classic feel to it. If you haven't heard the album then you've most likely heard their blowup song off it, Jerk it Out.

R-3888591-1348218156-1887.jpeg.jpg

Zebrahead - Panty Raid
Has a bunch of song covers. Pretty solid listen.

Bad Religion - No Control
Pretty hype album. Got a fat fast pace, good for when you're about to fall asleep but need to stay up.

Teddybears_-_Soft_Machine_cover_art.jpg

Teddybears - Soft Machine
A band co-founded by one of the Caesars dudes. It's pretty funky, and you've probably heard Cobrastyle off the album.

419ZV1GEK6L.jpg

Chumbawamba - Tubthumper
One of the first bands I ever listened to, and always keeps close with me to this day. Tubthumping everyone has heard, but not really the entire album.

I love pretty much every single song except territorial pissings on nirvanas nevermind album, that’s the main one that comes to mind. I’ll probably make a full post about this when I get home this weekend since I’m phone posting

[Frank] Sinatra at the Sands.

Freaking love this album, maybe one of the most underrated Frank Sinatra live performances/albums he's ever have recorded with some of his best hits with epic instrumentation and even light interaction with audience from time to time.

... Like Clockwork - Queens of the stone age.

I am convinced this is one of the best rock albums to come out of the 2010s, I still listen to this frequently since it came out in 2013 and some of the final tracks are stellar.

GREY Area - Little Simz

This rasta-london based chick is mental, with some mellow/hype tracks inbetween and really cool mix of instruments. Best fem-rapper out there imo. The first verse of this track is sick to me.

Watch the Throne - JayZ/Kanye

It's just good, honestly - if you can find somewhere to listen to it, the opening track with Beyonce is pretty bomb as well.

The Dark Side of The Moon by Pink Floyd

KID A by Radiohead

How To Disappear Completely by Mer De Revs

Another Green World by Brian Eno

I also like Mica Levi, Sigur Ros, Woodkid, Queen, Oasis Frank Sinatra. There's probably a lot more artists that I like but I can't think of anything else at the moment.

Sleep Well Beast by The National and High Violet by The National

U0tD3K7.jpg

RR7349 by S U R V I V E

I also love Vulfpeck and a lot of other bands but, I've decided to only link stuff that came to my mind
