Game closes when clicking find multiplayer game.

Woke up this morning, decided to hop on and do some rp to find my gmod closes itself whenever I click find multiplayer game.

I've reinstalled all my addons and reinstalled the whole game. Verified game cache about 5 times and it still won't work.

Join the server from steam, instead of GMOD. It works that way.
This has to be the most homo and stupid ass fix I've ever encountered.

found a way to bypass it for now, can join any server u want from steam

look at the top left corner and click on steam, then click on settings.

then, click on "ACCOUNT" and look over to the beta participation bit
you'll want to click "change" and then "opt out of all betas"

only way to fix it for now

Oh my God...I was just about to create a thread because I had this same issue and found nothing online aside from something from 2013!

Really eager to try the workaround when I get home today, this has been so frustrating
