gmod wont start

so i deleted local content for gmod and reinstalled it but now it wont start up
i did that cus i think i fucked up gmod after deleting some folders in GarrysMod/garrysmod/addons and /Models cus of some addons i didnt want

it just goes black and thats it
my pc is also basically internet explorer now (rly slow)

exit from all games or running tools on steam and try again

try to shut down the programs via task manager. if it doesnt work re-install steam

there ARE no programs on steam that are running except for steam itself.

you can copy your games to a different folder, and after you re-install the steam paste games back to the steam folder

then re-install only the game. make sure you unsubscribe from every single addons too
