Imagine if you would and RP setting with the equivalent depth and planning of the current HL2RP server but set within a modern city. No Combine, no Resistance, just life as normal as normal can be. Would it work? Would people enjoy it as much? Think about the types of creative freedom you could have with the things you could do. Stasiland saw hints of real-world civilian life but still under a heavily oppressive rule in an alternative past. I'm talking modern-day in either a real-world city or a fabricated one with a custom background. Would it work? Or would it get memed on too much and lack any sort of degree of popularity.
