How do you keep the items tab up on your spawn menu?

Hello Nebulous, although this may be a useless question to ask compared to other technical problems seen on this thread, but I'd like to know what the items look like. Now, I'm not going to do this on the HL2RP server, or any other server for that matter. Just a single player game. Please answer realistically.

Load a single player with the addons mounted and go in the spawn menu.

If you mean HL2/QZ specific items on our servers, you can't.

as for adjusting the spawn icons, right click them in the spawnmenu and click "edit icon"

Why cant I? Is there somesort of code or gamemode I can use to privately look at the items in a singleplayer server?
