Enb is a graphical pre-set for games and makes the world around you realistic and beautiful and might be good for posing aswell in gmod and it can be a FPS killer depending on your graphics card. You can even tweak your graphics using Nvidia Inspector or Nvidia control panel but some of the features are forcefully disabled and Gmod is one of them. I'll give you a couple of guides and screenshots for both separate users.

Use Boris's ENB for source. http://enbdev.com/mod_hl2_v0075.htm
Place the d3d9 file in your Half Life 2/bin directory.
And place the enbseries.ini file in the root Half LIfe 2 directory *where the executable is* and you are good to go.

Yes it's too small, try to compare the words while doing it.

yeah stop trying to make gmod look good

just accept the fact that it has shit graphics
ENBs don't enhance the graphics of the game, only alters the post-processing to disguise or enhance visuals/colours

that's what I mean

i use enbs to make my game look like less shit because most enbs make things too bright or too dark to notice shitty textures at least in my experience

so if you have xxxsuperlightbrightxxxenb 2.0 then now your shitty vanilla copy of skyrim looks battlefield 69

but with gmod the engine is too weak to handle anything without external help

thats why with skyrim, fnv, ect. there are tools and mods that help your game run without fucking itself in the ass
