I really like the Consequence one, the rest are good but that's my favourite. The angle and the gap in between just makes it. Second favourite would be Closing.

After looking back at them yeah, I agree.

At first I thought they looked too bland without filters, but I can always just use less obvious ones or none at all.

the poses are nice, but you're sharpening too much and using the sobel tool a lot.
if you really want to make it look nice and cool, the best thing to do is to try and remove the filters, instead opting for some post-process things to edit the cool poses. there's a good few modifications for Gmod to make it look beautiful, like the Life Mod and Robotboy's Post process stuff.

the pose in general isn't exactly incredible and i'd personally opt for just tossing it and finding a better piece

also do letterbox style its a lot better, use movie scenes with good cinematography as it usually does the trick well

it's a good start, but try to add some lighting effects to the general scene, along with possibly some DoF
