I'm a simulation tech in meded at my local hospitals. It's pretty cool, we use robots and VR to train doctors. I also do a load of videoconferencing now that we can't have fucking meetings (thats been fun).
Aside from that it's just a load of procrastinating, drinking coffee and taking too many smoke breaks to get out of my shitty cramped office.

I did it for a few years before I started here. Here's some tips to make your days easier;
- Start smoking, you can waste about an hour a day going for fags.
- Buy some fat fucking socks to stop the shitty boots hurting your feet
- Get an actually decent breakfast in the morning, trust me, it works wonders
- Drink less coffee or tea, or whatever it is you use to stay awake
- Whenever you're bored or tired, just go tidy shit. Literally, sweep floors, stack shit. Just look like you're doing something and you can kill some time
- Work a small company rather than a large one, you can get away with so much more shit if you're with a small company
- Start doing cocaine.

I'm way ahead of you on most of these, going to the toilet every half hour also kills a lot of time. And I'd like to work for a small company, but it's hard to find one that wants to hire unskilled labourers, for now I just gotta stick with shitty agencies that manage to fuck things up all the time.

Run my own company on the side, mostly with my family but I tend to do the paperwork while I'm at Uni, no offices yet, but we are working on it :3

Used to work gunsmithing but since the rona fucking made my job lay me off I now work for my fathers business doing woodwork, welding, steel cutting, applying designs to vinyl (aka making signs), making tshirts and occasionally I help him with some mechanic shit

I don't have a job quite yet because of treatment/recovery/rona but I have a certificate in animal care sitting there that will hopefully net me something in the respective industry

honestly for a while I was tossing up mechanic work and working with animals, arrived at the conclusion that it'd be a shitty career considering the course is like 20k for the baseline certificates and the wage is dog shit unless you have a shitton of experience and get in somewhere good, plus I think it'd just take the passion of cars out of me because I'd just be doing nothing but maintenance work most of the time

for a while I juggled the idea of becoming a dog trainer, gave up on that because i realised dog training is 90% training the OWNER to train the dog and I really don't see me having enough patience to teach people like that

overall I'd really love to work with reptiles or something like that but it isn't really that feasible given my location (aka the nearest wildlife sanctuary is ages away and i can't drive that far every day)

think the plan right now is to use my certificate to get into a general pet store sorta deal given that's what they're best for and i figure some opportunities will arise out of that

i'm still going to do my best to self-teach a lot of shit about cars which i've been doing for the past few years, next step is to get a junker i can try to fix/tear apart and that'll provide me with extremely valuable knowledge - maybe one day i could look into working with a smaller drag racing/drifting/track team and they'd take me under their wing if i had enough baseline knowledge for them to teach me off of
