It was truly a horrible mess, we left together because we've been banned by the unfair leaders of the community, I am glad its down now.​

Its gone, founder deleted it. They won't be able to revive themselves as they have no backup, all they have is: Steam Groups, Teamspeak 3, and thats it.

Basically.
There was that one, sick corrupted fucker named Harland, he was the founder of the community, the servers were basically p2w, or EA game, literally 9 sections of donations, and there also was one donation named "Everything for the server", well anyways, onto the situation.
There was also co-founder SGR, he got sick of the hierarchy and founder, he had full access to everything, to data, to host, and so on, SGR deleted everything, website, servers, data, and on the website, there was that announcement stating all 8 reasons why W-G should have been shut down, I agreed with him, then I asked another co-founder (His name is Extreme) and I asked him what are they going to do, will they be able to revive the community, he said no, since all backups were deleted, there's nothing they can do, and I don't know if they're going to reform, but I doubt about it, and I really wish they wouldn't...

I've seen a lot of communities like this but very few cases where the owners benefit greatly themselves.

Usually if they do their very open and honest about it

i've always slagged off this community since day one when i was permamently banned for spraying a deftones artwork on the wall outside of the reich and the admin shouted at me it was porn(he must be a hardcore christian and wasn't even nearing anything towards that)
the rules itself also doesn't help the fact that it was literally copied and pastied from numerous servers without an edit at first and they were very fucking awful and vague rules which never made sense
the "donation" section was very obvious that he was doing it for mountains of cash, nevermind all of the ppl defending the community telling me "it costs alot of money to run this community and the owner gets nothing!11" nearing a silly amount to something stupid as santos was demanding(nearly 1.5k a month in costs because of "developement costs" wtf?)

the playerbase was also very pissy and the admins were very nanny towards them

it's also very scummy to disable stream radio because of bullshit "copyright strikes" claims the owner himself said they had which is a pack of lies only to be told by a donator "you gotta $$$" for it
also mountains of "customized" jobs for donators which basically took up 75% of the avaliable jobs for normal players
they were also very OP and very typically ppl abused them

it was just an awful experience all around

there ww2rp was also awful and so was there SCP
been permamently in the past banned for killing adolf hitler for ordering the reich to KoS people in beanies(aka resistance members) for "RDM"
and permamently banned again for not "fearing" for my life whilst a nazi had a kar98 pointed at me from 30 feet away whilst swimming in a murky river

also think they had a vietnam server at one point where again, i was permamently banned for "hacking" i added an admin on and he said he has evidence of me "aimbotting" but refused to show me it

They've got SCP-RP and WW2RP backup, all from latest versions, they're regaining control and are banning people.
And fuck, I lost Extreme_Gamer as my friend, ever since the start of WW2.

i got permabanned for calling them out on stealing a map makers work on scp rp

scp rp just got duller and duller the more they updated it. there was this huge ass update they had planned but it went to shit because harland rushed its release and we didnt even revert to the older version because fuck you :^)

being staff there was all about being a huge snitch from time to time. they had more staff ranks and just kept adding more for god knows what considering some ranks didnt have any extra commands at all. it was a complete race for power while harland was all about keeping us working w/ no real benefits while he gains money out of doing barely any work.
in my older experience we almost NEVER got to talk to developers, and some owners were so up their ass that even just a rank below them meant deepthroating them to make sure you're in check

then the custom darkrp jobs came in. ONLY FOR £150 GET YOUR OWN CHEAP JOB WITH SHIT GUNS AND SMALL SLOTS

-surprisingly a LOT of people were up for it, some asked for hilarious shit like the ability to noclip to disappear and have guns or whatever - you know, to play like an "scp". and from there it was all about sucking up to whomever owns that job you wanted to get into so you could have fun. that, or if you were staff its an obvious free ticket (.......learnt from experience) - harland ended up scamming one dude of like £60 for a job and the SCP owner leaked the steamchat of it, and go figure he got perma'd along with anyone who accepted the truth and called him out. the rest of us literally fucking denied it of ever occuring or it wasn't really discussed in the first place

YES FINALLY. all of their servers were aids and i was perm banned from SCP-RP, WW2RP and DarkRP. I liked the ww2rp one for a while but man fuck that community for real lmao

The fact that there was 9 pages of donations show's that the owner was running it as a business, not as a community.
