A family man - his blood held at heart, and those ties binded by mud, even moreso.

Hailing from New America, a mere local Land-owner.

Representing what's left of honest living, gentle hearts, and kind people.

~

Thomas Brookes was born the fourth-born of seven sons, and four daughters, a large white-American family from the country dominated, more rural lands in the Northern States, somewhere in Massachusetts where it was always sunny, and kindly on a working man like he and his - Thomas was bred into a man loyal to his trade, his work - his wanting to be a farmer, a rancher, a man laboring honest to god his whole life.

His brothers and sisters all lived on the same land their whole lives, splintering off in ages you'd usually be seeking retirement were you some success, notable names in his family like his brother, Jed and his friend, Rickard (@dee pixel ), arrested in Boston for drug-charges, shortly before the birth of his son, Morgan Cormack (@FelixPiusKiller )

Since he was twenty-two, Thomas started taking care of all the family's kids and raising them as his own, as many of his family sought wilder dreams beyond the farm, or became layabouts, it fell on the most honest of them to care for the boys, such as his nephews John Horvath and Randy Morte (@Chains and @Darkk ) who's parents passed away to overdose and gang violence separately.

Thomas grew to become a constantly irritated man - angered by the life he was forced to lead, though, his load lightened when the man discovered with his wife he had a whole 'nother reason to live for his people, he was born a son, Joey, of whom became his pride and joy (@Andrew ), the man spoiled his son, his nephews obviously grew envious, but in the end - a man's seed was his roots.

Thomas led a relatively quiet life for some years, his farm picking up work as his nephews and son grew, and notable laborers came into the family and worked for their whole life and continue to, as if loyalty was some country thing, names like Mr. White, and Mr. Liamson, ranchers who helped herd long time in the ranch (@Mike65536 and @Flawed Hero ), or Mr. Parkson, Mr. Rockstar and even Thomas' returning cousin who came home to help pick up the family's business after a failed construction company he tried to run in Long Island (@Toriwarior30055 , @E.C Family Crip and @boots ).

The family's farm came to prosperity in these times - before the events occured.

It swept America like a horrid wildfire, first storms, then xen, then attacks, domination - the world left to ruin and rebuild, America left to it's own devices for the most part, much land left untouched to be ravaged by xenian life.

The Brookes family reunited and went dark for some time, surviving by fending off beasts and soldiers alike from their ancestral farm, numbering near twenty-five people there, surviving off produce, cattle and whatever the could muster.

Then came years later - America underway to full liberation, and the Brookes family could begin working again, yet. The newest superpower in New America a certain evil, some Presidents arising and soon, isolationism, men we're forced to work on behalf of the government, Brookes land made so quickly just another stake of government property needing to be bought back - if not, their produce went to the people, to be paid some weakly sum every so often.

Thomas tried to fight to get his land back - the man joined American military and fought frontlines for wage, returning when he saw the pay, then leading life of the most famous of song's heroes, with no names, a shootist, quitting after killing a man in a duel, another father, trying to hustle for pay. And finally, he began rustling, but his heart led him away.

And so, after sixty long years of life.

Thomas gathered whatever part of his family would part, and they left.

First, Thomas' brothers dropped like flies pushing their boats off port and holding off National Guard from their voyage, then the ship, some of his sisters died to sickness - and a Unionist pirate raid, killing another brother.

Touching down in Europe was no better.

Men continued to die to bandits, plague, Union an' Rebel forces.

Thomas wouldn't be alive without the final sacrifice of their expedition before settling - his dearest brother, Jed, a man known in his family as a crazy oddball, who only got out jail when the storms came, amounting to nothing, grabbed the last rifle they had, and confronted a group of bandits, and whilst they ran - Jed fought the bandits to a standstill so his family could flee. It's presumed he died fighting to protect his family, his son, his brothers and nephews.

His sacrifice not in vain, as Thomas eventually found a plot of land somehow - in Ukraine, though, only now we're his Nephews, Son and a few hands left alive, cattle gone, tools stolen, guns and arms stripped, and clothes torn up. And the finally casualty faced before they could settle - Tom's sister, Mary-Ann Gray, mother to Richard Gray (@Russell ), passed to wounds relating a cattle frenzy by their hounds.

And now, Thomas' story is led in Ukraine. With new cast at hand, players at the table, men joining him like Mr. Volvo, Mr. Murphy and the pet 'crab, 'Rocky' (@TorontoTheInjun, @OneClassyBanana and @Raiden ), notable characters in a new chapter of a modern frontiersman's life.

Known for his longing for neutrality, peace - escaping conflict. Maybe you have heard his tale, maybe not.

The man is simple, wanting to be simple. Easy living.

Riding into the sunset, together - with family and friends.
