Suggestion: Make it so that you hear voices through your player position rather than the camera position

Why: Having it revolve around the players rather than the camera feels more intuitive and there are some issues with it like having difficulty hearing people in larger vehicles (buses, trucks, helicopters) despite sitting next or close to them, and with eavesdropping since you can listen in on anything if you angle your camera right.

Unfortunately that's just not how the native voice works in GTA and I believe we're unable to control the origin position of a voice, which is also why phone calls cannot have a "speaker" mode.

The voice system uses Mumble under the hood, we're really only able to adjust speaking ranges, volume overrides (bypass 3d voice) and submixing.
