I swear on our great generals dentures that if I see another fucking loyalist I am going to maliciously strum Yankee Doodle while warming up the tub of tar
The people who draw and think this cartoon makes sense are as ideologically entrenched in their narrative as the people they claim to be against, two peas in a pod You're speaking to a brick wall who is deeply emotional, much like with the trump die hards, logic is completely useless.

The thing is, you don't know whether the report being filed is valid or not. You have a hell of a lot of people that complain over nothing, and a hell of a lot of entitled people in the states.
It is very much up there for certain. I dunno how high up it is but it has to be still up in the top 10s
imagine being a movement that seeks radical change (or any change really) from the government but not realizing constantly battling directly with the enforcing arm, that has no say or power to make the changes you seek, will bear no fruit trumpers at capitol may have committed some questionably legal moves, but at least their anger which was directed at the government, struck at the heart of it instead of torching a random city's community with no connection to our overlords in congress. fuck cops for being an institution that savagely mistreats the people who theyre supposed to protect, but at the end of the day theyll do what theyre made for, which is to be the government's bootlicking henchmen unless theyre made to see otherwise, in such a case where those they serve are tyrannical or what have you. if you believe that the cops at the capitol stood aside and let those rioters storm the capitol, its just a prime example of how you'd need the enforcing arm of the government on your side for progress attacking them isnt the way of going about that though.
people are happy to look over the fact that baltimore has like 50+ homicides per 100,000 on an annual basis so long as it means they can dunk on police. baltimore is certainly corrupt, not just policing, but probably every facet of the city's political and economic function. Merged: this. why be mad at cops when you should be mad at politicians for the laws they keep on the books which results in your confrontation with the police?
