Mirror's Edgy

So I bought Mirror's Edge today and downloaded it all fine. But when I went to play it didn't work. I click play and it says Mirror's Edgy has stopped working and when I close that the same message appears again.

go to your steam folder and locate the game files. run the exe from there so it runs without steam, if it doesnt work try running it as administrator

if not your directx or whatever shit isnt installed right

Its not about the specs of my PC, I can run it, I've checked

sounds dumb but try reinstalling it

steam sometimes fucks up when you install a game, just reinstall and tell me if it works

well that was all of my expertise on fixing games, idk my man. i had the same problem with Mirror's Edge on my old pc as well but idk i havent fixed

I took a closer look and found out Mirror's Edgy is not even a game, don't make us waste our time helping you.

Try to put it on compatibility mode for windows vista or XP, that's what the game was made for since it seems like you have win 7

I'm shit at PC's, but.

Are you running Windows 10 or any kind of "Really new" Hardware/software on your PC?

Some games refuse to start up if the PC is too good for 'em.
