So I wanted to share this since the investigation and everything has now cleared and this is a story that I can just laugh at and I want yall' to have a good laugh too, but I can't just show the video and that's that, I gotta give contex on this kid so here we go.

Back in mid 2017, I was stationed in Kapaun Air Base in Germany as a MP which I still am to this day, and on a days flight we were rewarded with a body that was probably the worst Military Police Airman we ever had to deal with. Anyone in the military would know there's that one kid who is just not there all the way, or makes a 13 year old look more mature than him, but this kid who's name I will call /Anthony/ was like an eight year old trapped in a 20 year old body. In September, we had a member in the flight commited suicide who was a mentor to me and someone that helped stir me in the direction I needed to be, and it hurt everyone about in the Unit. I'm not going to go out and try to make it look like this kid exaggerated his attatchment to him since this was probably the first time he was surrounded by death because even I had to take a day to put down my weapon and reflect on exactly what happened, but three days later I was good to go and ready to return back to work. Anthony, however, was on the /Do not Arm/ list for so long because of this incident that his certifications for his M4 and M9 firing expired, three months later. To top it off on this, our CATM instructors (weapon instructors) actually mentioned that they believe this kid failed on purpose on firing because he missed completly both with the M68 Red Dot and the Iron Sights, and that he would just mag dump throughout each time with no direction of aiming.

But here's what made this kid verrry special, his first day on flight he decided it was important to let us know in front of everyone while introducing himself that he had never kissed a girl, that he was sheltered as a child and that he was a virgin and asked if we don't make fun of him because of it. While my reaction was /o_0/, Army and AF MPs alike were biting down their lips in order to not laugh, the situation was a both mix of complete awkwardness and as if someone had just said Bigus Dickus out loud. Throughout the months, this kid was made to sit in our BDOC area and simply just study and clean up around, and the entire time Anthony did this he would make fake Elmo Noises and talk to himself in a rather scary manner by going all Joyful saying "I'm Anthony!" And switch it to a deep fake tone "NO YOU'RE NOT!"

Half of us couldn't stand this kid, half of us we're seriously concern and a small percent of us we're even afraid of this kid probably ending up perhaps being a secluded serial killer and pedophile since he really enjoys being in functions where kids were around and always associated himself around the young kids to the point where my NCOs wouldn't even allow him to their house on Thanksgiving dinner because of it.

So come sometime in the middle of the first week of December, Anthony had not worked a single shift or posted out anywhere for 4 months now and has no certifiactions what so ever to arm up with the regular weapons meaning he can't work anywhere at all, and my Flight Chief at this point has had enough with his impudence on avoiding to trying to get better and return to work that he was left with an ultimatum. In one of our PL-1 Resources back then, we had to have that post manned and armed up with a M249 SAW and I don't have to go into what a M249 is, but it was THE only cert he had left that wasn't expired and he was going to work that morning in that post. After guardmount, this kid hadn't armed up yet and I had a deep gut feeling that something was going to go down and I didn't want to be anywhere near it when it happened, so I stated to this kid "Hey Anthony, step aside for a bit, let me get up to the Armory Window and get some standby keys so I can get posted out and relief last nights shift." Thankfully this kid obliged and moved, and I didn't have to be in the same room when it happened. Now when you're arming up with a M249, this weapon has to be in a /Half Load Configuration/. Anyone in the military know's what this means, but since some of you aren't, I'll break it down to where it basically has to have the bolt forward and closed over the chamber, with the belt of rounds on top of the feed tray.

When Anthony got this Machine Gun issued to him, he proceeded towards the Clearing Barrel and the two people you see in the video standing next to the clearing barrel were posting out with him that day, the one leaning against the wall had actually just gotten back from emergency leave and this was his FIRST time ever meeting this kid and was actually trying to be optimistic about him while we were all warning him to keep your guard up over Anthony. The man inside the clearing barrel clearing him out instructed him to step up towards the Clearing Barrel and insert the barrel in it and to bring the weapon to a half load configuration. What Anthony did next was he inserted the box mag in, pulled the bolt to the rear and loaded the ammo belt over the feed tray and closed it. Immediatly the man inside the Clearing Barrel started telling him "No, No that is not how you do it!" And now Anthony is "freaking out" asking what to do next, so the man in the clearing barrel who was probably also on the virge of having a panic attack since he has a possible sctizophrenic kid with a machine gun ready to rock decides to tell him to /Grab onto the charging handle and hold it tight, then squeeze the trigger and slowly ride the bolt forward/. This is what happened next...

Like you saw in the video, he fires 5 shots into the clearing barrel, annihilating it and sending one of my friends running out of the room and the clearing barrel attendant from jumping out of the barrel. Everyone inside that was still hanging behind at the LRC (Computer Room) all they heard was a commotion and gun shots followed by the man running out and had actually thought he was going on a shooting spree and we're ready to actually respond with deadly force before my flight chief stuck his head out from his office and said these exact words.

"What the fuck was that?"

What the video doesn't show is him entering inside the Guardmount/Armory room with his hand on his holster, instructing Anthony to give the gun to the clearing barrel attendant and for the clearing barrel attendant to clear it out. Each time Anthony tried to say something, he would get scolded by our Flight Chief to shut the fuck up. As soon as he was relieved of that Machine Gun, he was escorted to one of our interview rooms and anytime there is an involuntary discharge of a weapon, you are read your rights. It's probably not like this in the Army but for the Air Force it is.

After this incident, the M249 was permenatly shelved and can no longer be withdrawn, the clearing barrel was RIP, the clearing barrel attendant lost his line number for promotion and was delayed it by 6 months along with a Reprimand, and Anthony received an Article 15, lost rank, and was then relieved of duty and kicked out of the military.

And there ya' have it, please enjoy replaying this video each time for your entertainment like me, because the reactions of my friends is absoloutly priceless. If this happened to yall, how would you react?

Honestly, at this point, they should question if it's even worth putting resources into this guy.

I've had similar situations within the Police force, I currently am training to become an instructor for the Criminal investigative department of my local force and some of the candidates that walk off the beat into our doors make you think long and hard on if they even function as a warranted police officer.
One of my most recent was with this guy who I'm going to call Andy because his name is Andy.

According to my Sergeant at the time, Andy here had shown key interest in investigative work and preferred it over the fast pace, action, fighting and screaming aspect of response work and patrol. (He was a key shift worker for Friday nights and weekends) and I had to take care of him during his probationary phase, (this is before you finish a few exams that are harder than answering life's questions, I failed twice.)

I knew as soon as he walked through that door that I had trouble, but as a requirement, I have to give him the benefit of the doubt and I really wish I hadn't.

Lost paperwork, missing paperwork, incorrectly filled paperwork, he even tried to run a whole case by himself on some apparent use of drugs in a dwelling. (It isn't even a crime to use drugs) because while off duty, he walked past a house and smelt cannabis. Our Sergeant requested him to not seek a warrant, but he persisted only to be shut down hard by the courts in a matter of seconds.

I decided to do a little bit of digging into Andy, more specifically his previous work and intel gathering while being a uniformed bobby, he had next to no intel reports for over two years of work. After putting this forward he was soon enough dropped from the program after most of us started to complain, our sergeant as well joined in leading to that decision.

TL: DR Guy somehow gets through a difficult and selective application with no experience and doesn't know basic law, even though having two years of active experience in policing. Most likely would have failed the exam anyway, waste of resources.

No but really, it does baffle me how someone like this is kept in service even when people don't feel comfortable with him and guns, and him having lost pretty much all certifications. I'm happy that he did get an article 15 he deserved, though I do think that the clearing barrel attendant didn't really deserve to get a reprimand and his promotion being postponed for the actions of a retard who shouldn't have passed any sort of training or selection... I mean, it's clear there something wrong about him and he shouldn't be allowed near guns.

Anyways, cool story man, fun read. Thanks for posting it.
