Serious My Documents Disappeared

Yeah. I turned on my PC, hoping to carry on from a saved game of mine, I was greeted by no save games. When I checked it out I had no 'documents' folder.

Any ideas?

hidden folders are visible, i set it.

check to see if you magically have a backup in the control panel > system and security > backup and restore

Open up the command prompt as an administrator and type /sfc scannow. If your files aren't corrupted, restart the computer, search again. If they still aren't there, don't worry. You can use a system restore if you have any to go back in time, and if you don't have any, you can get a nifty piece of software to find your files.

Technically, your data isn't deleted unless you format, re-format, or wipe your disk. So it should be there!
