HI!

FPS has been a hot topic of conversation, so I'm interested in what the average RP gamer has for PC specs! I don't know if a similar thread has already been posted, but if it has, sorry!
Here's mine:

Just upgraded mine recently from a rig with:
An intel i7-4970k
Some cheap as shit case I can't even remember or find the name of
nvidia GTX 1060
16 gig ram
750w PSU

To a much fancier and surprisingly way faster:
Ryzen 5 5600x
nvidia gtx 3060
nzxt h510 black
32 gig ram (accident, thought i was buying 16 gig, twas the same price though so a win)
600w platinum PSU (sounds like a downgrade but i really did not need 750w for the old one or this one)

I'm pretty sure you know but

You are aware your GPU is insanely weak compared to that beast of a CPU right?

Looks like it might be pre-assembled and shipped, and the CPU was cut down on cost to get a good GPU

Could be, yeah, luckily the GPU is very easy to switch (disregarding the price)

deffo, seems like its the case at least

just saw i switched gpu and cpu around in my first post oops

yah i would definitely opt for a stronger gpu if i had the budget - you can probably scalp some goober for your current gpu and save some money on a better card raiden

Got this a few years ago now. I'm not a huge technical nerd but I think it should be good for a few more years?

I do and this is on purpose. The GPU Market was insane for a couple of years due to bitcoin mining and the likes, and I genuinely couldn't afford to upgrade it.

I broke my CPU (i'm an idiot, it was entirely my fault for being careless) and had to splash out gpu money on the cpu.

any suggestions for a new GPU within a resonable price range that wont fuck up my system would be appreciative xx

Anything you give that absolute beast of a CPU will need to be able to keep up with it if you truly want to squeeze the power of your PC properly tbf

get a GPU that won't bottle neck your CPU lol

having good parts but being unable to utilize them is a waste of the money you spent on the CPU - splash on a good GPU
