Quick question

There is a little baby coyote in the woods near my house and I have a 12 gauge pump. Should I go out and kill it or leave it alone? If I leave it alone, it could possibly attack and the mother may attack us at some point. If I kill it, the mother will leave and all is good. I don't know what to do. Kind of don't want to kill it because I like little cute creatures, but I don't want the damn thing to attack me or my family.

Well, coyotes are free game in Pennsylvania. We can shoot them on site. Reason behind it is that they kill off the deer. Kind of a pest really.

when I was a kid, around two or three or so my land upstate and my family's land had literal herds of deer during hunting season
you couldn't go a single season without seeing at least 20

now some coyotes interbred with wild dogs resulting in massive coydog populations, and you can't go a morning or night without hearing them and the deer population is utterly fucked
