Wouldn't it make more historical sense for Germany to have unified under the "Stalin Notes" and in which Stalin (Unsurprisingly) lied and continued to build up influence in a de-facto puppet of unified Germany given by NATO? Which would lead to a strongly Soviet-aligned Germany in the future by 92'.

Germany wasn't reunified in this lore until 1983, after a flashpoint conflict between the Warsaw Pact and NATO where West Germany was conquered and the USSR was in a strong enough position to keep it when a ceasefire was declared, don't quite see how that factors in at all

I'm making a point of historical probability that the Stalin Notes would be an easier and more realistic way to tie in a unified Germany for the Warsaw Pact.

Well something to remember is that the lore wasn't exactly written, it was the result of past events, player actions, etc. This is the continuation of two servers worth of content

That also doesn't exactly fit the entire theme of the Stasiland being a lawless warzone

In our timeline history hasn’t changed too much from its true path until 1983, with the exception of nuclear weapons not having been invented and a few events around those being tweaked

even if you're saying that the stalin notes would have been that effective, the lore is based on actual events of a previous run of ww3rp and that makes it so much better for players - rely on the history that was created together, the war of german reunification was a shared experience we can all draw on together with our old characters and reference battles we all took part in
