Retrieving server info only on the HL2RP server

So I tried to join the HL2RP server earlier today and I managed to do so, after a while - my game froze up and eventually crashed. After that, I decided to rejoin three times but the game was stuck on retrieving server info. I then gave up and went on the WW3RP server and did not have the same issue, couple hours pass and I try to join the HL2RP server again and its still stuck on retrieving server info.

any fix??
