alright, here we go

so right off the bat, i noticed that the lighting for most of the poses was very dull. let's take the vietnam-type one with the soldiers, for example. it doesn't really look like it's outside. every angle of the pose is equally lit, giving it a weird mat_fullbright quality that's hard to ignore. in reality, there would be many more shadows and the majority of the light would be coming from the sun's angle.

the posing itself doesn't look very natural for most of ragdolls. i don't really have much advice for actually posing ragdolls since it's really something that you just pick up after a while, but i would recommend setting both physgun_timetoarrive and physgun_timetoarriveragdoll to 0 in the console. this allows you to pick up any part of the ragdoll and drag it around without it being pulled down by its own weight. it makes posing with the physgun much easier.

something you really nailed with most of these is the camera angle, though, so keep doing what you're doing with that.

this is my favorite pose out of all of em

the lighting isn't too flashy but it's realistic. it really feels like daytime. the two guys look natural and the whole setting is nicely built.

but yeah, just keep screwin around with ragdolls and lighting and i think you'll be making some pretty badass poses soon.

Thanks for the hints and feedback, I'll take note of these and try to change things up a little.

The ragdolls look a bit, well, unrealistic. And the lighting in some of the pictures are a bit dull as well. Looks good anyways!

you nailed the camera angle. the posing and faceposing are both believable. a little rim lighting would've been the image pop out a bit more, though.
