- You are required to be at least 18 years of age to join
- Cheats, exploits or third party software that gives you an advantage of any kind are strictly prohibited. Any players found to be cheating will be banned from the server.
- Respect: Players are expected to treat all other players with respect and courtesy. Any form of hate speech, discrimination, or harassment will not be tolerated.
- Communication: English is the official language of the server. All players are expected to communicate in English when roleplaying. Use other languages sparingly.
- Micspamming is strictly prohibited. Micspamming includes things such as: playing copyrighted music, extremely loud sounds or loud soundboards.
- Reporting rule breaking: Players are encouraged to report any rule breaking they witness. You can do this by sending a private message to a member of staff or by creating a player report on the forum.
- Follow staff instructions: All players are expected to follow the instructions of the server's staff members. Failure to do so may result in disciplinary action.
- The OOC chat should only be used when absolutely necessary or in the event of technical difficulties. It is not the place for discussions, please use the forums or discord instead.
- Please stay in-character at all times and refrain from using ‘Out-of-Character’ terms or other immersion breaking terminology.
- NLR (New life rule) will be in effect if you are incapacitated and decide to respawn instead of being revived. You will forget everything about the situation that led up to your incapacitation as if it never happened.
- NVL (Not valuing your life) is when your character isn’t acting fearful or otherwise careful when confronted with life threatening scenarios (e.g. having a gun to your head). You should avoid NVL.
- No Metagaming: Metagaming is the act of using out-of-character knowledge to gain an advantage in-game. (This includes using discord and other VOIPs software outside of the game)
- No Powergaming: Powergaming is the act of using your character's abilities, powers, or equipment to force other players into a certain roleplay situation or to make them do something against their will.
- No Deathmatching/Vehicle Deathmatching: Deathmatching is the act of killing other players without a valid roleplay reason.
- No Erotic Roleplay is ever permitted on the server.
- No transferring items, knowledge, currency or property between your own characters.
- No looting items or money from other player’s inventories with little to no roleplay provided.
- Disconnecting or ‘Sheltering’ (Entering an instanced building) to avoid roleplay is strictly prohibited.
- Name - Please pick a serious character name. Additionally players are not allowed to use the names of celebrities or real-life figures for their characters. This is to maintain the realism and immersion of the roleplay. Any players found using such names will be asked to change them.
- Age - Any and all characters created must be at least 18 years of age or older.
- Throwaways - Making fresh characters (aka throwaways) purely to attack, target and/or bait other players is prohibited.
- Before any combat is to be started, there must be some form of motive or reasoning beforehand; it cannot be completely random with no reason.
- Combat must be initiated by roleplay of some form, something as simple as basic communication will suffice.
- Characters who have been incapacitated and then revived are not allowed to return to the same combat scenario.
- No ‘3rd partying’ - 3rd partying is the act of involving yourself in combat scenarios where you weren’t initially involved or have no part in. Self defence does not count as 3rd partying.
- You cannot force an individual to transfer or withdraw funds from any of their bank accounts.
- An individual that's compliant during a robbery cannot be executed afterwards unless there's sufficient reason to. An example of this may be: Cops are informed that if they breach the building then the hostage will be executed, cops ignore the warning and breach, in-response the hostage is killed
- If someone playing a hostage has to disconnect for OOC related reasons, They should OOCly contact the involved parties and inform them of the change in the scenario.
- You cannot use a friend or a participating member of the scenario as a hostage. It must be a bystander not involved.
- Rule of 4 - The rule of 4 is a limitation stating that criminals may only have four participants at any given time. Incapacitated participants are not excluded.
