You are invited to a special Subnautica livestream event. Join us on January 30th, 6PM UTC as we premiere the Below Zero Early Access Trailer and launch Early Access on the Steam, Epic, and Discord Stores.

@Vortigangster @MetroPaun @subnautica :heyzeus: where u at

Anyone planing to get early access? Or waiting for the full game? Think I'll buy it and just play it for a bit to see how is it like considering that the full game itself will be released before the end of this year. I've legit kept myself dark from this game, I did the mistake of spoiling a lot of things for myself in the first game.

when u went off the edge of the map for the first time

'Geological scans of this area show a steep decline in all directions. This data is consistent with the theory that the Aurora crashed on the edge of a 2km x 2km volcanic crater. It has likely been millennia since an eruption reached the surface, encouraging the ecosystem within the crater to flourish. The ecology of the trench surrounding the crater supports only two kinds of life: microscopic, and leviathan class. Exploration is ill-advised.'

just got to the part where you get freedom and a base to setup in
pros:
  • looks amazing
  • good sound
  • story looks interesting
  • unique start to the game
  • new fauna and flora is cool
cons:
  • runs like ass
  • parts obviously not finished
  • pop in still seems like an issue
if your willing to deal with early access get it but if not dont bother

Processor Intel(R) Core(TM) i5-4670K CPU @ 3.40GHz, 3401 Mhz, 4 Core(s), 4 Logical Processor(s)
Installed Physical Memory (RAM) 16.0 GB
GTX 1050

now that I think about it the area in the screenshot runs well its just the start of the story is when it runs like ass (could be because of all the models)

game is great so far, and isn't as badly optimized as said earlier

I run it fine at 60 fps stable 2560x1440

there isn't a whole lot of story, but from what there is its already an imrpovement over the first game

and the game looks fantastic
