Obsidian setup a twitch account where players can vote on what controls are input.
They shoot the first NPC in the face.

I played the game for 44 minutes and by the time I got to the first town I was bored.

keep in mind, this is all subjective; i hope anyone who buys the game enjoys it fully

The story didn't grip me at all.
The movement system felt clunky and was probably giving me motion sickness
The combat was...Boring. When the first enemies you fight are generic bandits; not a good start imo.
The games visual design is too bright, even with the brightness turned down - there's no option to disable bloom.
All in all, by the time I reached the first town I had lost any interest in continuing.

I half think I didn't give it a fair shake, but I seriously didn't enjoy what I played and didn't feel comfortable continuing.

Anyways I got it for a $1 along with the other stuff thanks to xbox game pass, see how I like it, if you are unsure if to buy it I suggest you do the same cause even if you don't like it at least you got a lot of other stuff to try out!

I think people are overrating them a bit

New Vegas is a good game and a good fallout game

But a lot of the people who worked on it aren't at the company anymore.

I just imagine that some of the talent would be retained in a way?
Really disappointing if so, I'd really like to see an another New Vegas game.

Outer worlds might be what you're after, I don't know

I enjoyed New Vegas, so much so that I played it multiple times

But outer worlds just didn't appeal to me, it didn't grip me at all and I didn't enjoy what little I played of it. Some might think I'm being unfair on the game and they may be right; it's just how I felt.

I wanted to enjoy it, but I just couldn't.

After the first impresssion, I couldn't justify buying it full price so I submitted my refund ticket and moved on.

I hope anyone who plays it enjoys it as much as possible and hope I'm just in a minority of people who share these sentiments about the game.
