think i might just move on to sfm at this point honestly
this only took me like 30 minutes and could be better if i spent more time on it but if sfm is easier to use i dont see much point in doing it in gmod

the scenebuild is good (if it is a scenebuild) but the direction of the picture is bad

it doesnt evoke any actions though, what are the helicopters doing there? why is one facing towards cam and the other two are about to fly into the storm?

the top left black circle is a radar dish that doesn't have proper lighting. here's the same pose from a different angle. i liked the one i posted originally more but this one might be better

in addition here's another one i just finish and i absolutely despise but w/e

i'm bad at positioning humans, i should stick to vorts and machines

Do you have photoshop? It'd probably help with touch-ups to effects and such. I'm no creative myself but I've seen the stuff the Media team has done on here and it baffles me their level of skill.

also its not a scenebuild at all, if i tried that id probably make a darkrp box fort whilst trying to build a warehouse

From what I've seen and heard though, SFM's superior model/resource/whatever wise.

imo sfm is utter shite to use, its best to learn posing and shit on gmod, since its easy to use, then you can apply those skills to sfm when you wanna take the 6 - 8 week masters course to fucking learn how to use SFM

But yeah, practice makes perfect really. I didn't bother with making poses since I ran out of ideas on like the third pose I wanted to make.

i may as well repost my old poses here from like 2015 when i applied to be a media dev tho.
