Expected Activity, Possible Inactivity: By the time this application gets reviewed, it's most likely I have already started school. I am going to be honest and say I am having exams this year and chances are I will be less active during exams, which are at the end of the year. Nevertheless, I am motivated to join and be dedicated to this faction, specially upon launch. I have purposely stopped playing Hl2rp to dedicate myself to this server.

Previous Infractions, Forum or Server (WW3RP & HL2RP): I believe my only infraction on Nebulous was a not-so-well orchestrated credit transfer between characters on Hl2rp. This happened years ago when I was very new to roleplaying and I did learned my lesson back then.

Are you aware of the differences in the Stasiland iteration for WW3RP compared to earlier ones?: Yes, I am. Speaking of which, I feel more comfortable about Stasiland's iteration rather than the previous WW3RP ones. I did play both Cold war and "Globalist x Coalition" but I found myself enjoying Hl2rp more and therefor never gave actual dedication to neither.

How familiar are you with the history and ideology of the German Democratic Republic?: Yes, I am very familiar with GDR history aswell as Cold War.

Describe, summarily and to the best of your understanding, the role of the Stasi and their practices in a broad sense: Stasi was a short term for Staatssicherheitsdienst which translates to "State Security Service" in english. The Stasi was not an ordinary law enforcement agency. In matter of fact, it didn't follow the law very often due to the importance and fragility its operations held. At this point we can class the Stasi as an intelligence agency. Their methods varied from using citizens has informants to clandestine house searches without proper warrants. The Stasi was responsible for the surveillance and psychological control of the populance, and the opression of political opponents of the state through a specific technique called Zersetzung (German for "Decomposition".). This technique was informally used and consisted of abusive control and psychological manipulation of the victim.

    In Berlin, Socialist Germany

Somewhere deep inside an archive room

Two gentlemen dressed in dark grey uniforms, smoking a pack of lucky's just like the old days

    They search for something

    Something about recruitment

    A file.
"You sure this is the one?"
    "Yep, This is the one."

    "Finally...I'll take it for review."

"Alright. Bring it to me when you're done."

"Hhm...By the way, what day is today?"

    "Two weeks before christmas."

    "Right..."

Marks the day Wesser joined the opressors.

FULLY DESCRIBE THE PERSON'S BACKGROUND ON THE RIGHT LINE

Military service history: As soon as they turned 18, Leonhard was accepted into the military academy, underwenting several military and reinforced pro-SED education aswell as physical and psychological orientation. According to the personal service file, they passed all theorical, physical and psychological exams with exceptional grades, making him part of the top 5 highest grades of his class. Leonhard made friendship with, officer student, Fritz Hussmann who later was recruited into the Stasi. They graduated on 31st of May of 1977.
Upon graduation they acquired SED membership and enlisted into the Volkspolizei by choice where they stood until the present. Leonhard was promoted to Sergeant on 30th of April of 1986 by old colegue and current Stasi agent Lieutenant Fritz Klusmann and invited to the Kriminalpolizei one week later by the agent.
Lieutenant Fritz Klusmann has recommended Leonhard's entrance into the Stasi and confirms he has been deeply watching Leonhard's work since they were invited into the Kripo. They described Leonhard as a "Intelligence and trustworthy comrade who has dedicated his whole life to the nation and will not refuse an opportunity to serve further it more."

Academic history: Leonhard was raised at home until the age of 11 when they were sent to the Preparatory school of Potsdam. At the age of 14 they willingly joined the Potsdam detachment of the FDJ, receiving a fully pro-SED education and partaking into pro-SED organized events. Stood there until his 18th birthday. During their school career, it is known they kept at the higher level then the rest of the students, being intelligent, carefull and, although did not enjoy studying, they did it regularly. Had friends and didn't show dificulties in socializing. Never posed a threat for the school's well functioning and did not suffer nor practiced bullying.

Political history: Leonhard was member of the FDJ his entire childhood,in which they actively partook in various events. Official records of the FDJ confirm Leonhard's presence on FDJ meetings, youth assemblies, volunteering work and public marches. Upon turning 18, they joined the military academy in order to enlist into the Volkspolizei and imidiately became a member of the SED until the present. Their time in the SED proved them as a loyalist since they commonly spectate public assemblies and vote whenever requested. They have also been seen on a few lower meetings where they contributed to the matter, but never as active as their time in the FDJ - probably because of work. It is well known his friendship with, Stasi agent and Volkspolizei Lieutenant, Fritz Hussmann.

For further reference, the FDJ was the youth branch of the SED. In case anyone doesn't know.

fairly sure people couldn’t be sworn in as Stasi employees in any sense unless they had a deep involvement with the SED (which showed their loyalty to the nation and the party) so you should think about changing this.

I researched on the matter and can confirm every Stasi official had to be a member of SED at some point in his life so I will change it.
