Spoiler: CHOOSE YOUR CHARACTER
Jess Revolver truly is an icon of female characters in roleplay

I made a drawing of us Miss Prime Minister!
All time favorite was 'Nikkie' from CW.
I didn't pick Jaime because he was such a mentally taxing character to play

EY WE GOTS TA GET BACK UNDERGROUND TO DO DA ROLEPLAY NOBODY DOES OR WE'ZE GONNA GET WHISKED OFF TA' THE GREAT COFFIN IN DA SKY.
Easily Macie “Aura” Bagley since she actually went on for a super fucken long time. She was a quieter character, didn’t go to events with her, only real thing she did was own the bar in the rebel part of City 24 for a bit after having BMD flags and starting a small radio show. Eventually became disenchanted with the rebels since they constantly murdered each other, ended up staying in the city since she never actually got BOLd, became a squire for some random Senator, very fun to have a CAB radio whilst going to the outlands whenever I visited out there. Wasted hours and hours playing her, but she was happy enough.
Buuut then the CW timeline ceased to exist so now it’s just my little medic boy Andrew Crispp and his bakery which is honestly sneaking up to be my favorite
Met most of my friends on here while playing Ford, lot of memories of memes and just generally fun shit.
But my best character by a long shot is the one I'm playing right now, Shawn Seon/Takeshi/TK5-1.7. An amnesiac plopped down into City Eight with absolutely no direction but to find his feet, entirely shaped by his surroundings and raised by the people around him. Started off pathetic, useless, needing to lean on everyone for most of everything, learning the basic skills of life.
Quick turn to substance abuse and a few very heavy stages until he finally got to grips on his own. A character I've been slowly building up over the course of about two years all the while I was pushing an underlying narrative of a tentative, sprawling past that @dee pixel eventually helped me explore through a set of emotional events that culminated in Nova Telo.
On top of that, he actually got to regain that past not too recently in the Joseon event and has had to struggle with two versions of himself raised in entirely different ways stuck into his head at the same time. It's been challenging and rewarding both. It's been equally fun channeling the philosophy of someone who's got no point of reference for anything oldworld. Someone who has no concept for greener pastures and would rather place himself in the grey middle than ever branch fully onto either side.
I'd go into so much more detail but I think I'd spoil the character if I did, when he's dead I'll do a longer rant than this. Only real regret I hold over all this is that I didn't grasp the art of making good characters sooner than Helix, so much shit I missed out on that was just right there waiting for me.
If there is one thing I would like to know about any character is Takeshis full past, you probably have one of the coolest
Either John Goodsprings, who didn't last very long (maybe a month or two) but was basically my first character ever back on C24, or Alderitch Mograve, PhD. Absolute banger of an eccentric, xenian-fascinated UIL character. Too bad he died in a fairly shit way, being it was during that event where we went out to turn on a Dispatch AI. It ended up like, on day 3, with my character being stabbed with a syringe and air being injected into him. He succumbed to a stroke shortly afterwards.
I wish his death was something more... 'big'. Cos the entire reasoning behind his death just feels cheap and shit.
But, that's life.
God I fucking hate Karl Huxley. Put him in a workcamp.
All my homies love Ravoux.
Both Firebug and Sweepy are characters I love to play. My two best vorts.
when did they die?
