The year is 2035.
The world has completely succumbed to combine control, all waves of rebellion have long been wiped out.
Overwatch forces have complete control over the civilian populous and invasive privacy measures have been drastically increased, to the point where all populated areas resembles Orwell's "1984."

Rapid evolution black projects have been carried out in secrecy from the populous by Willard Industries, attempting to force evolution upon the Xenian creatures unleashed by the portal storms in May 2009. alongside countless anti-citizens encountered across the globe.
Unbeknownst to WI the evolution proved more than successful, allowing the experiments to break free and start a new, evolved resistance movement with countless species banding together to form the ADVENT coalition.

Now it's up to the Overwatch forces to take back the globe, with what little force they have left, prior to the means of production being taken.
