"Supplying or selling testosterone, a class C drug, is punishable by an unlimited fine or up to 14 years in jail.
But it is not illegal to buy or possess it for personal use, provided it is not brought into the country via the postal system.
Oestrogen is a prescription-only product, but if it is for personal use it can be legally imported without a prescription."

testosterone is a steroid so don't try to redistribute it, oestrogen is pretty much fine to possess

if you have the money and are in the UK:
If you are in the UK: GenderGP (if you can afford it) is a private healthcare service aiding transgender people in getting on HRT. It uses a model similar to informed consent and asks about your plan for transition. Unfortunately, they have a bit of a reputation for giving rather undesirable dosing regimens and not following clinical guidelines, and can be quite expensive.

if you're in the US:
If you are in the US: you can try informed consent (Planned Parenthood locations offer this service), or any endocrinologist that allows it. Informed consent is essentially an easier method of obtaining HRT without having to go through multiple psychologist/psychiatrist assessments (essentially having to 'prove' your transness), or be actually diagnosed with gender dysphoria. You just sign a consent form and that's it.

obviously practice safe drug use and dont be an idiot

gendergp kinda sucks and is prohibitively expensive for what it is, 100% better to just try and get dose elsewhere and either get levels done through gp or through something like medichecks. ive seen people who were basically paying for nothing past getting reliable prescription as gendergp wasnt monitoring levels properly and a variety of other issues like the ones u said. they fill a gap in the market because the nhs sucks so bad, thats all

also neither gendergp or nhs can supply injectable E which is objectively best for monotherapy, lasts longer and is cheaper all round
