I feel like perhaps you should work a little on the posing, for instance the male with the hat's hand position and also try experimenting with different camera angles.

Apart from that your work is coming on nicely, keep it up!

yeah me too it pretty much sucks if i were in you i'd try something else besides 3d modeling

Blender, it's not a program the pros use but it's free and really good for beginners, there are also a lot of tutorials around which help you a lot. Unlike (most) other programs.
The thing with blender is that most stuff takes a lot of time, which is why I'm more into making simple things.

If you're a student, you'll be able to get Maya or 3ds Max free for 2 years. I'd recommend that, but it's a little more complicated than blender.
