I like how it has a little of a rapture look to most artistic detail. Especially loving the first looks on the casino!
Just gotta love that roaring 20s look applied there :D

I actually re-played the Bioshock series a month ago and tought "Hey...how about I try this" and it became an addiction. I always liked Art Deco architecture and aesthetic, especially since my native city still has many Art Deco houses from the 30's still intact.

Then there goes the question - what pre-war City will it be? By the whole looks of it, I kinda get the vibes of GDR here.
Never tought about it. I guess I'll leave it to the decision of the player.

It's always good to have a certain city in mind, though. Then you can look at actual real-life pictures as reference and inspiration. It'll also make the future player a bit more immersed into the map.

Today's work: more alleys and further work on slums

Listened to people's demand and added verticality to the map, you can see a part of the catwalks and rooftops in this photo, in which below the catwalks lies one of the dark alleys that the map will incorporate (i want noir style feels)

afaik the bright window thing is done with a material / texture from CSS
