Greetings everyone!
I am a 22 year old guy and played a lot of hl2dm before. On Benni's Game Servers there was roleplaying and I used to love it until people tought the game would be too old and got bored, so consequently they left overtime. It was not after some years I got interested in RP'ing yet again and found this server by watching some cinematics about this gamemode and it remembered me of the old times.
Likewise it must be mentioned that I am a little bit sensible in dire situations and the result may be that I exaggerate a little bit too much so I might need to get used to this kind of serious rp first and get rid of my OOcly confusion probably... Sorry if I might cause trouble I gotta get more experience. As a matter of fact I've been involved with autistic people (who told me they were in real life), permanent killers and only a few friendly people in hl2dm. It wasn't impossible to communitate friendly with them, tough most of the time some of them were honest people despite the fact of their unsual and irrational behaviour, others at a point tried to fuck off people and even attacked the server creating unrest inside the community. The result may be the lack of trust.
However I don't want to talk everything to the worst. It was a fun time playing there, it was a lot of fun roleplaying, you got rebels and cops but people just randomly killed it was hl2dm after all. Nevertheless we could enforce friendly rp without another guy from a deathmatch server joining and killing everybody without a reason, kinda simplistic.
Having considered all these issues I hope I'll learn how to correctly roleplay in these servers and last but not least just get to know the people and have fun all together.
