The seeding is based on fifa ranking if not mistaken (for pot 1, pot 2, pot 3) and then each group gets 1 pot 1, 2 pot 2 and 1 pot 3 or 1 pot 1 1 pot 2 and 2 pot 3

that and the fact netherlands+italy missed out means there are only 1 or 2 good groups


edit: This does however re-enforce the importance of a first seed in your group, because the favorites all spread about, getting 2nd place in your group is really dangerous, making group B and group G the most dangerous and important groups to watch, because however comes 2nd is still a threat but is likely to get knocked out by other's first seeds

Modern Football is just fucking us hard look at Justin Kluivert. Kid hasn't shown that much potential in the Dutch league (Eredivisie) and is about to sign for AS Roma where he will play 2 matches then get loaned to like hudderfield town where he will die of as a talent and just be a b rated footballer. It's sad that most players choose money over having a good career but I would probally do the same if I know I am financially strong for the rest of my life by making these kind of moves. I am going to follow the World Cup and the team I will support will probally be Germany (Sorry Belguim not hating on you but I just don't like the players your team has.) If I would say who would win the world cup I would say Brazil but the world cup always have sides where they only start performing when the actual tournament starts. For instance I think England and Portugal are two good sides but I wonder how they will start the tourney.
