One thing we stressed in our pitch on Monday there wad that access to weapons is readily available, perhaps lower tear weapons like melee, bows, pipe rifles et cetera. But given the action focus you wouldn't be lacking.

The concept of the Stasiland is that there is no government per-se, so peolle cannot rely on that. Instead on themselves and others, and the competing factions. In that sense it is the opppsite of HL2RPs very present apparatus of state.
yeah, in that case consider my initial longpost null.
my body is ready.

i honestly doubt that stasiland will be similar to half life 2 roleplay as they are both different settings and such. i put my trust into char and roose but i still am afraid that the playerbase will heavily split between half life 2 roleplay and world war 3 roleplay
might be an issue but not too large if you ask me
most of the people more active on hl2 will probably stay on hl2, just like before when we had two servers
majority of ww3s community will most likely be old players who left or are taking a break coming back for it

Curious, within Germany, I am assuming the following;

a) there is a puppet/collaborator government but,
1) they are stretched thin
2) are poorly funded
3) have little legitimacy

b) there is an occupying soviet garrison who's objective is to prevent flat out insurrection
1) they are not equipped with the latest and greatest equipment, allocating that to more combat heavy situations across the globe
2) they requisition as much as they need, meaning, if they need extra support for insurgent groups when they grow in strength, they call in for more supplies from command and do convoy/shipping events that can be raided or hijacked
3) have relatively predictable patterns and routes.

to what extent is all this true, and assuming this will be occurring in Germany, how much of the occupying force will be Slavic Soviets, and how much will be Aryan/W.Euro Soviets? Will there be discrimination towards non-Russian/Slavic Soviets in terms of ranks, or KGB eligibility?
Rogue authorizations for Soviet characters?

Apologies if I missed anything regarding this but..

What exactly will the Stasi be doing?
Outside of intelligence and all that.

Ok, so from what I've read in the past 20 pages. It will basically be Soviets going around doing typical ww3rp patrol type stuff, however, because they've pretty much destroyed everything there isn't an obvious "Enemy" like 1990 with NATO. So the Soviets are going to be attacked by various freedom fighters and remnants all the while secret underground groups sabotage shit and supply these groups.

And then you have citizens looking out of their window "This War of Mine" style, and can choose to join these freedom fighters or NATO remnants or simply tell the Soviets of what they are doing.

Is that a good understanding?
