Hello, back after over a year to see what's changed. You may know me from back in the day, although many people have left since lemon punch.

I'm the Nova who did voice work when was a civil administrator albeit briefly, did occasional video stuff and generally liked to administrate and help people increase the level of quality in their writing.

Hope you are all Gucci, and I hope I meet some wonderful new writers.

Very well and then not so well. Passed every single test, then failed on the fitness by a hair. Resat it twice and same problem. Definitely my life goal, but I'm currently seeking mental self development before trying again. It was mainly motivational issues derived from shit jobs and shit motivation. But otherwise I did exceedingly well haha

cant imagine doing amazingly well on everything only to fail on one thing

and that one thing being an auto-fail on the entire thing

thats like one of my worst fears

Thankfully fitness an always be improved on, so its nothing too extreme. It's mainly because i didn't keep up with a routine and just did fitness whenever, with a main focus on weight loss which became a pretty necessary thing, going from 250 pounds to 203 within the year.

whats the physical requirements

inf here, ours aren't too difficult for minimum

Physical requirements are BMI requirements, functional reach, blood tests, electrocardiogram tests, eyesight and hearing tests. Fitness requirements are 35 sit-ups in a minute and 25 press ups in a minute, which was piss easy, the hard part for me was doing the run of 1.5 miles in 9 minutes for my category, which at 200 pounds isn't easy!

Also requirements in general are super high mainly from an aptitude standpoint as the role is a Senior non commissioned officer role within Aircrew, physical requirements are equivalent to pilot

Yeah running is the worst part. Although we get 12 minutes to run minimum 2200 meters. The rest of that test sounds strangely easy? You can just bang them out before you get fatigued lol.

Ran 2637 on my test though, which I'm perfectly satisfied with. Try interval training if you aren't doing it already

Rest of the test was no problem. Interval i hate, which is why i struggled haha

thats not that bad is it?

thats 183 meters per minute

if usain bolt can knock out 100 meters in 9 seconds you should be able to do 188 per minute for 12 minutes

should be able to do it with a brisk walk?

Yeah, little different - there is a clear do X in X. I didn't even mention the MSFT, which is an absolute fucking ballache.

i had a similar experience, failing the first time at basically every stage except the airman test thing, waited on and off for about a year and a half because you need to wait 6 months everytime. ended up just going to college and studying electric installation which im enjoying far more, hope it goes well for u tho china :)
