You release a multiplayer only game

Then you make a sequel, with a story mode

Key diff is Titanfall 2's story was actually pretty fucking good.

imagine if there's a fucking $60 "upgrade pass" that just turns your overwatch 1 into overwatch 2

OW 1 has to download all of the content either way, i wouldnt be surprised if they put the new content behind a paywall

is overwatch 2 a new game which you have to buy seperately or is it an enormous update for overwatch 1

For some reason I feel like Blizzard will make OW1 free to play some time in the future once time passes and the playerbase decreases.
Then again, maybe I'm just modeling it after what other game companies have done, idk. I mean, it's Blizzard, after all.

Anyway, wow. I called bullshit on this blizzcon featuring OW2 a few weeks ago and now I feel like a moron.

While being passionate about stuff is good you shouldn't let things to cross certain lines because

1. They could be basically fooling you and taking an amount of money the game isn't truly worth

2. Feeding them despite them fooling you or scamming you or doing things wrong and of bad quality will produce a bad decrease in quality with the upcoming titles from Blizzard including the Overwatch IP

In the end the "fastest" way Blizzard and its fans have to "tell their feelings" to eachother is through sales. If no discontent is shown (aka number of sales barely goes down) they'll keep on their tracks producing low quality R34 bait for 60€ the piece.

A new game that has what OW has but they added PvE. So... Mann vs Machine.

Of course Overwatch 2 is a cash grab, but that won't stop me from buying the game and feeding Blizzard's corporate engine. In fact, I'll go ahead and probably make Diablo 4 my first Diablo game and play the fuck out of WoW: Shadowlands.

I'm very hyped for this 'story mode that should've been in game 1', because I've stopped playing game 1 ages ago. Also Echo is hella cute they should draw porn of her ASAP

Still won't buy that R34 mine for 60 euro's though. Video games have become way too expensive

You know... I still vouched for Blizzard during the whole Hong Kong thing, but somehow I feel like this is worse.
