Jokes aside, its not a bad idea but the reality is in most cases the "changes" don't really last. Still, its worth a shot.

because it launched like an mmo with longterm sustainability features at the sacrifice of roleplay and nebulous players dont like that
+ some internal drama abt the way developers were treated, and a generally bumpy launch with a really shit staff-team
it also didn't have the hindsight of a several year-long banlist

imo dont think neb players ever had the right to judge or be as bitter as they were its just a different experience
there was a pretty tasteless thread about it like 3 years ago

Eh, it went deeper than just "it launched poor" tbf.

Atle openly blackmailed and tried to manipulate people several times while he was here, including me, to get what he wanted. Because he was the only mapper at the time he'd dangle that over heads too, and even when he got what he asked for it never ended up being enough. He'd always push for more.

This all came to a head around when C24 launched when he tried to rile the community up against Flippy over not letting him having a special suit again in CAB. He got called out about it and ragequit.

Then he went on to make what would become Willard. I saw some chat logs and stuff from that era, it was really bitter and openly "I wanna take down Neb" sort of stuff. The worst thing about their launch was the whole "We won't do what THOSE guys did...." and shit talking only for them to, y'know, have to do it anyway because thats the reality of big servers.

Atle puts on the face of someone who's super fun and zany but, at least when I knew him properly, he'd gladly try to stab you in the back if he didn't like what you were doing. He tried to oust me and Human as CAB leads via a secret PM with the faction, twice, for denying his 1984 reform and despite BQ telling him not to do that when he got caught the first time.

Anyway in lighter news the only ban I've ever almost gotten on Neb was when I was killing off Jackie (THE GENIUS) and I told a cop that came down the WI elevator "do not come down I do not wanna kill you" because there were only 2 online and they decided to come down together like 5 mins later to S2K me, lost, then reported me for shotcopping without the minimum tag on
