I mean you are a trained soldier with a good diet - there isn't much any unarmed retard is going to do to you in most circumstances. Proselytes are really only at risk of being mugged in events like the prison anyway.

chez i dont know if you're joking but if you actually tell people off oocly for play to losing thats a bad precedent to take

also id be disciplining oocly because I'd expect a lot better from trained soldiers than thug beat cops, it may be different for CPs but they're a different breed entirely

Maybe take context into account, if a proselyte walks into a catwalk alone and some brave bluesuit monkey hits them with a plank, yeah, maybe they should be good soldiers and just take the injuries and fight back, but if they're unironically in a tight spot where fear rp and fear PKs play a role, then cut some slack

I think what Chez means is, like cops, you need some sort of motivation to play to your strengths. P2L means "don't just shrug everything off", but unlike what some people think it don't mean "Just lose all the time even if you realistically couldn't." - you don't want Proselytes ending up doing what cops used to do and slipping their buddies equipment (not that they would).

If you AFK in a bad spot and get jumped, you deserve punishment. If you get ambushed and have to RP properly then fair play.

I don't think we should be discouraging play to lose - being reasonable with it, sure, outright banning/punishing it is just silly

yeah but being afk is different to responding reasonably and truthfully to a situation where realistically your character could be fucked
