like i just don't get roleplaying anymore. IDK, maybe i've changed too much for the medium, but I feel by all accounts I should like it. My experience in revolution and early Helix was at least enjoyable enough to apply for staff again and interact more with the community, at least until I started losing steam again and quit, this time thinking that I've done so for good

However, I do really WANT to enjoy it. Seeing all the stories unfold through the lens of the screenshots and the talk people have on the forums, the fast paced and roleplay packed experience of Joseon seems like it would be right up my alley, yet I have no idea how to engage in roleplay and have fun with it anymore.

And honestly it's a huge bummer because imo the setting has improved and become a trillion times better than it was back when I was on basically every day in 2016. Seeing everyone have fun and rp together makes me want to jump right in but as soon as I connect i want to do something else; and as soon as i disconnect from the server i want to reconnect and do the big RoleplayTM

i don't know what the issue is, because i really do want to play on the server. However every time I do play, I don't want to and end up either walking around idly and then disconnecting or immediately disconnecting upon selecting my character

What you need is homies you can have storylines with and let it run from there. I felt a little down until I paid @Redneck 40 usd to return. And what we made led to a ton of really cool stories.
