Looking forward to the GTA™️ V™️ Expanded and Enhanced™️ version on the PS5™️ with a single extra useless feature nobody will use to justify re-releasing it on another platform instead of developing an actual game

If the next GTA is set in a contemporary setting it will suffer from the same thing as GTA5

We all know we'll just be getting GTA V v4 when the PS6 launches sometime in the late 2020s

It's ironic how one of GTA V's big criticisms is of capitalism, rampant greed, idealism, and the idea of the "self made man", but Rockstar as a company is the exact thing the game criticizes.

A soulless husk of a company that crushes out sub-par content rather than indulge in creativity at the heart of game development they produce formulaic content and continue to build upon a fundamentally bad game, turning it to a shambling frankenstein's monster that is only there to sustain the company's bank because they have fully embraced the absolute industry killing crapshoot that is "games as a service"

nevermind how it treats it's consumers and fans, letting hackers run wild in their product and do things like steal their customers data, and not give a crap about it because it doesn't affect the in-game monetary system, so it doesn't damage the purchasing of shark cards

Rockstar has become the very thing it swore to destroy, and has been for years. A soulless, formulaic, tumor like growth on the video game industry that only cares about when the next re-release of GTA V is or when they can push the next Online DLC to add more absurd and insane power creep to their bloated monster of a video game

where to keep up financially in-game you have to either have been playing from day 1, be cheating, or throw hundreds of dollars at Rockstar's face and just barely have enough to unlock basic functions required to access 90% of the game's content
