i knew about the latter part but not the burying their dead. is it like... actually effective burying or just partial submersion in the dirt? that's weird they should get those guys shovels

they cover the remains with leaves, branches, and loose dirt they can pick up; it's as close as a burial you can get with the "tools" they have at their disposal
