Suggestion Add a "Compass" item to the Hardware store.

Description: Add a Compass item to the Hardware store so we can have the GPS Minimap on foot when not inside a vehicle.

Why it would be worth adding: Helps navigation on foot.

Requirements: Development work.​

And as others have said - having to repeatedly open the map to check you're going the right way is frustrating.


If it's a buyable item or an app, you don't have to turn it off - you just don't turn it on or buy the item.

Stop referring to things as "AIDS" for one, that's really not okay.

Bro believe me I hated the no minimap on foot the same as you do now but in the long run I assure you it is waay better to keep it off.

I never actually learnt anything of the GTA map until I played with the map off. And mind you dude, you still have the map most of the time. It's only when you're on foot that you can't see.

1. I don't understand what you're doing to have to repeatedly open the map.

2. Okay so if you don't buy it, then you will be at a disadvantage. Same difference.

You can…travel around together you know?? Like??? Literally just go around places together. Being a taxi driver is an insanely good way to meet people and learn the map at the same time.
