Apparently I don't have Gmod- Forum Error

So basically with this new Steam login thing on the forums, I can't sign in without associating the accounts. When I do that though, it says "nebulous - error You do not own Garrys Mod"
However, I do own Garrys mod and...yeah.

I'm typing this on my phone where I'm not logged out.
Any ideas on how to fix or is this just a bug I'm stuck with?

make your steam profile public perhaps ?

Yeah, if you receive this error and you definitely own Garry's Mod; Ensure your Steam profile is set to Public, you can set it back to private once you have registered or associated your account.
