CALL OF THE VOID (Event Series)

The incidents at the Black Mesa Science facility and the arrival of the combine has proven the existence of other worlds, other dimensions.
But what lies between these worlds? What is this space, between space?
Vortigaunts call it the void, others the abyss.
But to you, the dark.
The endless dark.
The great Nothing.

But in this eternal purgatory, you are not alone.
Beings lurk in the deepest recesses of the dark.
Not all are malevolent, nor are all benevolent.
Some seek to torment, others to save.

Perhaps you'll go on a journey of self discovery.
Or have dark secrets resurfaced.
Maybe you'll go with purpose, to save others lost, fumbling through the unknown.
Either way, this place is like no other.




Call of the Void.
A multi-part, multi-faceted event line.
Broken into two parts.


Void Explorers.
Aid Dr O in rescuing those lost to the void.
Travel deep into the furthest reaches of the infinite.
Dr O will give out a radio call, to those who answer you'll be heading into the unknown.

GROUP BASED
No application required, just show up if your radio goes off.
If you want to introduce a new character this way, IE be the one getting rescued.

Into Purgatory.
Sucked into the void, you'll have to deal with whatever lies on the other end.
Be it torment or redemption.
A passive event, based on your character and their backstory.

SOLO
Sing up only, make a forum convo with me and just give me a short character backstory/outline.
If I have something I think I can work with, we'll discuss a date and time.
These events are here to solely give you some char dev, and maybe something extra to their backstory.
Not exclusive to any faction.
