calling all fallout fags

i have recently taken interest in tale of two wastelands, which as you might know merges fallout 3 and fallout new vegas along with all dlcs into one big mashup of bugs and shit voice acting

jokes aside, I want to know if any of you have any experience with running that mod and can recommend any nice mods for me to use

i mostly want visual mods but anything that's stable and isnt really script-heavy is accepted too

But, first things first is the 4gb patch mod, to prevent out of memory crashes when you do start to mod things, get that first.

can never be too ssafe, was watching two guys play new vegas for months with a bunch of mods and they never installed the patch even after their 50th episode.

i know that feeling
i was playing a heavily modded fallout at one point without even cleaning my master files or having anything to prevent crashes
was crashing every 15 minutes but still kept on playing lol

i absolutely hate ENBs for some reason
they make my game look like a cartoon, but thats probably just on my end and my personal preference

besides i cant get most enbs to run over 50 fps without frame drops, so i usually skip them
i know how to configure enbs to run better, but i still dont like them

the blur in the distance is good if you want to ignore the ugly ass fucking LOD of fallout, but ive got a mod that makes the dusty distance much closer so its harder to notice the ugly lod

im also p sure that most if not all mods work well with TTW especially visual ones

im just looking for mods that touch upon BOTH wastelands rather than just one

its pretty amazing to get mods from fallout 3 AND fallout new vegas to work together in one engine. blows my mind

p.s. huge load orders usually make my game commit seppuku every ten minutes so its why i made this thread

u can go to fallout new vegas and become the courier and do courier shit

still havent gotten to playing it, the load order i want to run is huge

a lot of mods are unstable as fuck if they arent built with TOTW in mind and always start in F3, starting in NV causes extreme bugs and glitches entering F3s game world when doing NV to F3
those are the two off the top of my head i remember, theres a few more but i cant remember them

I find it weird I have essentially the entire game as well as every quest line, location, unique weapon/armor piece locations, as well as NPCs memorized and ingrained into my memory.

Yet I still find new playthroughs fun.
