Serious Can't connect to the server

When I try to connect to the server, it stops at "Retrieving server info" and it crashes the game.

Alright slight update here. It also crashes randomly when I click on stuff such as servers and such.
Yes, I already checked the integrity cache thingy and I've already reinstalled the game.

Lemme try to delete the complete fucking folder and do a fresh start.

Also I just tried that. It makes the SP server and everything is fine but when it comes to connecting to the server afterwards it still just crashes at retrieving server info.

Okay found a temporary solution.
Join the server trough steam, not GMOD.
