I've played this game for about 82 hours, one full playthrough. My opinion is as most, the game has potential, but there's alooot of things missing to make the game feel more than just a - "Go to point A, get a call, kill some shit, earn eddies. Off to point B": Story ain't half bad, characters are well written but again, feels short. Just hoping these upcoming updates add some muuuuch needed content. Like.. hair saloons, like, LET ME CUT MY DAMN HAIR!
Watch it be adding smaller things like... More whores/joytoys around the city, more side quests, and, hopefully, small things like, a fucking HAIR SALOON DAMNIT. (Maybe a car shop for customizing cars?)
I mean there is a teaser that implies it includes content w/ Johnny at the very least. Merged: https://www.cyberpunk.net/en/dlc the video in the link: https://cdn-l-cyberpunk.cdprojektred.com/video/dlc_loop3.mp4/
Hmm possibly, though only thing that looks new is the start of where you're in the dump and V's freakin out, at least from what I've seen. HOPEFULLY new shit with Johnny yeh!
so some news I'm FAIRLY SURE this is authentic; anyone can feel 100% free to correct me but as far as I know this isn't fake and it's actually happening. TL;DR, according to this CDPR is being overseen by the Polish Office of Competition and Consumer Protection - specifically, the patches for the game and basically the general improvement of it. That essentially means that CDPR has no choice but to fix the game, as if they don't they could receive a fine up to 10% of their previous annual income and due to that being mostly comprised of Cyberpunk's profits, it equates to millions which must be fucking terrifying for them. So, for us, this means there may be delays in the patches/DLC/everything else; that being said, it now means we're assured quality because if CDPR doesn't deliver they're up shits-creek. Also yeah that No Man's Sky style overhaul was just a rumour, CDPR confirmed it was horse shit sad
I can imagine people celebrating this, but this is going to be dog shit for the devs in the trenches. Genuinely feel terrible for the 9-5 guy/gal.
Respect for doing that. Honestly I didn't hop on the hate train for this game. It was one of thee best games I've ever played and I'm eager to play it again but resisting for awhile to see more content added.
