pulp fiction is influential in terms of moviemaking but it definitely isnt his best movie lol

Tarentino was definitely high as fuck when he came up with pulp fic. It’s a little overrated but I still think it’s his best work to date.

Hamlet 1996 is pretty great

If ur looking for weird then watch Polanski's Macbeth, a fucked up film made by a fucked up person

King Lear 2018 with Antony Hopkins

Titus is pretty fucking wacky too

Not Shakespeare but I think you would like Wolf Hall too, it's about the court of Henry VIII

they kept shakespearian dialogue and basically remained entirely on script to the orginal play
whilst slinging guns about

so characters are saying "thou" and "do you bite your thumb at me" whilst firing off their glock or whatever

it's not, that's legitimately part of the movie, and if you can't get over that you're missing out on a solid film and my personal favourite modern adaptation.

Macbeth is a blood who kills the leader of his set, becoming a famous performer and all round influential person, only to be driven mad with guilt, eventually having a court case opened against him, he gets blasted by a rival gang member at the end.
